Role & responsibilities The incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks at TechnoServe .

- Accounting and Compliances

Monthly FPC (Farmer Producing companies) visit to monitor and ensure update of book of accounts GST, Taxation of the FPCs (Farmer Producing companies)and Federation on a regular basis

Assist in license application and renewal of Federation and FPCs (Farmer Producing companies)

Annual audit accounting processes of the FPCs (Farmer Producing companies)

Setting up of processes for Stock management, Cash management and book keeping

- Training and capacity building

Regular training to the 15 member FPO (Farmer Producing organisation) accountants on book keeping and accounting
- Financial accessibility and planning

Serve as the principal liaison between financial institutions, including banks, micro finance institutions, and other financial service providers on Federation behalf. Assess financial viability of the Federation and develop their business plans and link them to financial service providers like CA / CS.

Financial modeling and monitoring financial internal control of the firms

Prepare financial reports,



loan utilisation plan and ROI tracker for Federation

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills and Experience

a) Qualification: Commerce Graduate with skilled qualifications like M.Com, Inter CA, CMA will be preferred, or PG Diploma in costing or taxation.

b) Minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience handling relevant activities in accounting function for corporates in India, preferably for multi-country organization.

c) Excellent written and oral communication skills.

d) An eye for details and commercial acumen.

e) Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

f) The person will be required to travel extensively to the project location in Solapur.

g) Should be familiar with local language Marathi h) Proficient in accounting, maintaining books of accounts, and banking.

i) Experience in accounting, books of accounts and finalization of accounts, working in financial institutions with financial inclusion training will be an added advantage.

j) He/She will coordinate with the Board members and accountants of FPOs.
