The role

We're looking for a full time Accountant to own our books end to end. You'll handle day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, and financial reporting for a growing D2C business.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally
- Record and reconcile all sales, purchases, expenses and bank transactions
- Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and handle GST reconciliation
- Manage input tax credit tracking and vendor GST compliance
- Handle TDS deductions, quarterly returns and Form 16/16A issuance
- Reconcile e-commerce payment gateway settlements (Razorpay, Shopflo) and COD remittances
- Process payroll and maintain statutory records
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow statements
- Coordinate with our CA for audits and statutory filings
- Maintain inventory and cost records

Preferred

- Experience with e-commerce or D2C businesses
- Familiarity with payment gateway and marketplace reconciliation
