Role Description The Accountant (UK Shift) will manage day-to-day accounting and finance activities for clients operating in the UK time zone.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling bank and ledger balances, and assisting with tax computations and statutory compliance. The role involves preparing financial statements and management reports, supporting audits, and ensuring timely filing and documentation in line with UK and Indian regulatory requirements where applicable. The Accountant will coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve queries, improve processes, and support business advisory initiatives.





This is a full time, on-site role based in Amritsar, requiring consistent work during UK shift hours.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger management, journal posting, and bank reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and analysis, including preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation and compliance, such as income tax, GST concepts, and familiarity with statutory audits and regulatory documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as Tally, Excel, and other ERP or cloud-based finance systems.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with clients, respond to queries, and work within cross-functional teams.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent degree in accounting, finance, or commerce are preferred.
- Previous experience in UK shift accounting, international clients, or a tax and compliance firm will be an added advantage.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality in financial data handling.
