Role Description The Accountant at Life Designer will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The role involves preparing management reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South,



requiring close collaboration with leadership and project teams to support accurate financial planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, expense tracking, and cash flow monitoring.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, compliance with local regulations, and familiarity with statutory reporting requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar), as well as strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a tech, digital, or services-based company is beneficial, along with a strong attention to detail and integrity in handling financial information.
