Institution: Himalayan Group of Skilled Institutions (HGPI)

Location: Kala Amb, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh

Job Type: Full-time, on-campus

Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions invites applications from qualified accountants with prior experience working in a college or university. The candidate should have practical knowledge of institutional accounting, student fee management, financial reporting and audit documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledgers, vouchers and supporting records.
- Manage student fee records, receipts, outstanding dues and reconciliation with the institution’s ERP.
- Process vendor bills, payments, reimbursements and petty cash transactions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and verify receipts and payments.
- Handle payroll accounting and coordinate salary processing.
- Assist with applicable statutory compliance, including TDS and GST.
- Prepare financial reports, expense statements and budget summaries for management.
- Coordinate with auditors and maintain complete,



accurate audit documentation.
- Work closely with academic and administrative departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Qualifications and Skills

- B.Com, M.Com or an equivalent qualification in accounting or finance.
- Previous accounting experience in a college or university is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Tally/TallyPrime, Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Experience with educational ERP systems and student fee accounting.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and the ability to meet deadlines.

Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and relevant experience.
