Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, site project accounting, and tax compliance for our Delhi office. Because our business handles complete turnkey interior fit-outs and custom furniture manufacturing, you will be responsible for tracking project-wise budgets, managing vendor payouts, handling client billing, and ensuring accurate GST and TDS filings.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Project & Site Cost Accounting: Track project-based revenues and expenses, reconcile material costs against estimated budgets, and issue progress billing/milestone invoices for client fit-out projects.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Payouts: Process and verify invoices from raw material suppliers, carpenters, subcontractors, and transport vendors against purchase orders and work completion reports.
- GST & TDS Compliance: Ensure accurate GST classification (e.g., works contract vs. sale of furniture), compute monthly GST liability, file GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B, and manage TDS deductions on site contracts.
- Factory & Inventory Accounting: Coordinate with factory management to track raw material consumption, stock movements,



and inventory valuation for custom furniture manufacturing.
- Petty Cash & Site Allowances: Oversee daily petty cash transactions for Delhi site teams, field supervisors, and office operational expenses.
- Bank Reconciliation & Financial Reporting: Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations, maintain the general ledger, and generate monthly P&L; statements per project.
- Audit & Finalization: Assist external auditors during tax audits, annual closing, and financial statutory compliance.

Requirements & Skills

- 3–6+ years of core accounting experience in interior fit-out, construction, real estate, architectural, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or relevant ERP accounting software.
- In-depth knowledge of GST laws (specifically Works Contract GST rates), TDS, and Delhi NCR tax regulations.
- B.Com or M.Com degree (CA Inter is a plus).
- Solid analytical skills with expertise in MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
