Role Description The Academic Counselor (Edtech) will work full time on-site at EdifyChamps’ Gurugram location. This role involves guiding students and families on appropriate course selections, learning paths, and tutoring options based on academic background and goals.

The Academic

Counselor will conduct individual counseling sessions, assess student needs, and provide recommendations for academic improvement and career exploration. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, collaborating with tutors and operations teams, and communicating regularly with parents or guardians about progress and next steps.



The role also includes participating in information sessions, supporting enrollment processes, and contributing to initiatives that improve the overall learner experience.

Qualifications

- Strong student counseling and academic advising skills, with the ability to understand learner needs and recommend suitable learning plans.
- Effective communication skills, including transparent verbal and written interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience or training in career counseling to support learners in exploring future academic and career pathways.
- Educational background in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Prior experience in edtech, tutoring, or academic support services is preferred.
- Ability to build trust with students and families, work collaboratively in a team environment, and manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Comfort with using digital tools and CRM or student management systems to document interactions and track learner progress.
