About Band Nine Academy /n Band Nine Academy, founded by Elizabeth John, a renowned IELTS coach in India, is an IELTS training institute based in Kottayam, Kerala, helping students achieve their desired band scores through personalized, strategy-focused training. /n Role /n We are looking for a student-focused Academic Counsellor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. /n Employment Type: Full-time /n Location: Kottayam, Kerala /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Call and connect with daily leads and understand their requirements.

/n

- Guide students based on their individual needs and provide appropriate course information.

/n

- Encourage and coordinate demo class attendance.

/n

- Follow up with leads regularly through calls and WhatsApp.

/n

- Build relationships with students and support them throughout their decision-making journey.

/n





- Convert interested leads into enrollments and maintain accurate lead records.

/n /n Preferred Candidate /n /n

- Fluent in Malayalam and comfortable communicating with students in Malayalam. (Mandatory)

/n

- Excellent at talking to students, understanding their needs, and providing the right support.

/n

- Prior knowledge of IELTS, Spoken English, or PTE is preferred but not mandatory.

/n

- Experience in IELTS, Spoken English, PTE, EdTech, education counselling, or admissions will be an advantage.

/n

- Solid communication, listening, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.

/n

- Friendly, responsible, and student-focused approach.
