Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Academic Counsellor to join our team in Coimbatore. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, understanding their career goals, explaining suitable courses, handling enquiries, following up with prospective students, and supporting the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and educational programs.
- Understand students' academic background, interests, and career goals.
- Provide accurate information about courses, eligibility, fees, duration, and career opportunities.
- Handle student enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, walk-ins, and other platforms.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions.
- Maintain student records and update CRM/MIS regularly.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Coordinate with academic, admissions, and placement teams.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, webinars, and student engagement activities.




- Prepare regular reports on enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Experience in academic counselling, education counselling, admissions, EdTech, or sales will be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Good convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Strong follow-up and customer relationship skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluency in English and Tamil is preferred.
