Role Overview

We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Academic Content Writer who can manage:

· University application documents (SOP, LOR , essays)

· SEO-driven blogs & website content

· Engaging social media content The ideal candidate should be able to switch between formal academic writing and creative digital content while maintaining clarity, originality, and brand tone.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Application Documentation

- Draft and edit Statements of Purpose (SOP) tailored to specific programs and universities
- Write Letters of Recommendation (LOR) (academic & qualified)
- Prepare Personal Statements, Admission Essays, Scholarship Essays, and University-specific responses
- Customise content as per country-specific guidelines (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.)




- Ensure all documents are plagiarism-free, well-structured, and submission-ready
- Manage multiple student cases and meet strict deadlines
- Maintain complete confidentiality of student data.

Blog and Website Content

- Write SEO-friendly blogs on:

o Study abroad destinations o Admission & visa processes o University comparisons o Career pathways o Global education trends
- Create website content, landing pages, and informational guides
- Conduct in-depth research on international universities and programs
- Optimise content with relevant keywords while maintaining readability.

Social Media Content Creation

- Develop engaging content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Write captions, post copies, student success stories, and informational posts
- Align content with Taksheela’s brand voice and marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with the design and marketing team for content calendars
- Simplify academic information into engaging, easy-to-understand content

Required Qualification

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Education, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in academic writing/study-abroad documentation (preferred)
- Excellent command of written English (grammar, vocabulary, structure)
- Strong research and storytelling ability
- Basic knowledge of SEO and digital content strategy
- Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment
