About the Role:

As the Freelance Academic Content Developer for IIDE’s Digital Business Programs and BDB department, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality, industry-relevant academic content on a project basis.

This role involves researching topics, creating and refining learning materials, developing presentations and academic resources, and ensuring that all assigned content is accurate, engaging, practical, and aligned with program learning objectives. You will independently manage academic content projects while collaborating closely with IIDE’s academic team and subject matter experts to maintain high standards across learning modules and programs.

What You'll Do:

● Academic Content Creation:

○ Develop academic presentations, lesson content, learning notes, case studies, assignments, exercises, and assessments based on project briefs.

○ Structure content in a clear, engaging, and learner-friendly manner.

○ Translate complex business, digital, and technology concepts into practical and easy-to-understand learning material.

● Research & Industry Relevance:

○ Conduct in-depth research across digital business, marketing, AI, technology, entrepreneurship, management, and related domains.

○ Identify relevant examples, tools, frameworks, case studies, statistics, and industry developments to strengthen learning content.

○ Ensure academic content reflects current business practices, emerging technologies, and market trends.

● Content Review & Enhancement:





○ Review and refine existing academic content for clarity, accuracy, relevance, consistency, and learner engagement.

○ Incorporate feedback from IIDE’s academic team, faculty members, and subject matter experts.

○ Ensure all assigned content meets IIDE’s academic quality standards and program learning objectives.

● Project Delivery & Collaboration:

○ Work closely with IIDE’s academic team on assigned modules, courses, and content development projects.

○ Independently manage deliverables and adhere to agreed project timelines and quality expectations.

○ Communicate proactively regarding project progress, feedback, content requirements, and potential roadblocks.

● Additional Duties:

○ Support curriculum updates and the development of new modules when required.

○ Contribute ideas and recommendations for improving academic content, learner engagement, and learning effectiveness.

○ Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management, aligned with the broad scope of the position.

Who You Are:

● Must-Have:

○ Solid research, writing, editing, proofreading, and content-structuring skills.

○ Excellent command of written English with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

○ Ability to simplify complex subjects into structured, engaging, and learner-friendly educational content.

○ Ability to independently manage deadlines and multiple content deliverables while maintaining quality standards.

○ Good understanding of business, digital marketing, technology, AI, or related domains.

● Should Have:

○ Prior experience in academic content development, instructional design, curriculum development, educational content, or business content writing.

○ Experience creating presentations, case studies, assignments, assessments,



lesson plans, or other learning resources.

○ Strong online research, fact-checking, and information-verification skills.

○ Ability to incorporate feedback quickly and collaborate effectively with academic stakeholders and subject matter experts.

● Nice to Have:

○ Previous freelance experience with EdTech companies, educational institutions, business schools, or learning platforms.

○ Subject-matter exposure to digital business, marketing, AI, entrepreneurship, technology, or management.

○ Experience collaborating with faculty members, academicians, or industry subject matter experts.

○ Familiarity with creating practical, industry-oriented learning experiences for students and working professionals.
