Role Description The AC Technician at LG Service Center will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing residential and commercial air conditioning units. Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, checking electrical and plumbing connections, and ensuring units operate efficiently and safely. The technician will respond to service requests, document work performed, and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to the service team and customers.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai, requiring regular field visits to customer locations within the city. The position involves adherence to safety standards, company service protocols, and quality guidelines.





Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for AC systems, including identification of mechanical, electrical, and performance issues.
- Knowledge of electricity and electrical components related to HVAC systems, including wiring, circuits, breakers, and controls.
- Experience with plumbing aspects of AC installation and service, such as condensate drainage, piping, and leak detection.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance on air conditioning units, including cleaning, filter replacement, refrigerant checks, and performance testing.
- Understanding of EPA or equivalent environmental and safety guidelines related to refrigerant handling and disposal.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, or mechanical trades.
- Previous experience as an AC technician or in a similar field service role, preferably with branded or authorized service centers.
- Ability to work in office and in the field across Mumbai, including handling tools, equipment, and moderate physical tasks.
- Good communication skills, customer-focused attitude, and ability to work both independently and as part of a service team.
- Commitment to safety practices, punctuality, and accurate documentation of service activities.
