Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area for a 3D Plant Designer / Modeller with a focus on Auto Plant 3D. The role involves developing and modifying 3D plant models, including piping layouts, equipment placement, structural elements, and associated accessories in Auto Plant 3D and related tools. The 3D Plant Designer / Modeller will collaborate closely with process, mechanical, civil, and instrumentation engineers to ensure designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Daily responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings, isometrics, and layout plans, coordinating model reviews,



incorporating design changes, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also includes optimizing layouts for constructability and maintenance, supporting clash detection and design validation, and contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong 3D Design and 3D Modeling skills for plant layouts, piping systems, and equipment arrangements.
- Proficiency in Animation and Lighting for visualizing plant configurations, walkthroughs, and presentation models.
- Graphic Design capabilities to prepare clear, professional drawings, diagrams, and visual documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Auto Plant 3D or similar plant design software; familiarity with CAD tools and BIM platforms is an advantage.
- Understanding of industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or process plant design standards, safety norms, and codes.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, GA drawings, equipment datasheets, and engineering specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple design tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary engineering teams on-site.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or related engineering discipline preferred.
- Prior experience in 3D plant design or industrial projects in the Greater Delhi Area or similar environments is beneficial.
