Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and academically accomplished Professor of Radiology/Radiodiagnosis to join our medical college/hospital. The candidate will be responsible for providing expert radiological services, leading academic and teaching activities, mentoring postgraduate students and residents, and contributing to research and departmental development.

Role & responsibilities

* Provide expert diagnostic radiology services and accurate interpretation of imaging studies.

* Perform and report X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI and other radiological investigations as per expertise.

* Supervise and guide postgraduate residents, Assistant Professors and other junior faculty.

* Conduct lectures, seminars, case discussions, journal clubs and clinical teaching sessions.

* Mentor and guide postgraduate students in academic, clinical and research activities.

* Guide and support research projects, dissertations, publications and presentations.

* Participate in and contribute to departmental academic meetings, CMEs, conferences and workshops.

* Develop and implement quality-improvement initiatives within the department.

* Collaborate with clinicians and other departments for effective patient management.





* Participate in departmental administration, planning and policy development.

* Ensure compliance with institutional protocols and applicable regulatory requirements.

* Promote a culture of academic excellence, ethical practice and continuous career development.

Eligibility & Qualifications

* MD/DNB in Radiology/Radiodiagnosis from a recognized institution.

* Valid registration with NMC/State Medical Council.

* Minimum 8 years of relevant teaching/clinical experience as Associate Professor.

* Minimum 4 research publications in reputed/indexed journals.

* Candidates must fulfill applicable NMC/University/Institutional eligibility criteria for the position of Professor.

Preferred candidate profile

* Strong expertise in diagnostic radiology.

* Excellent teaching, mentoring and leadership skills.

* Strong research and academic orientation.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Experience in handling complex radiology cases.

* Expertise in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or other subspecialties will be an added advantage.
