Job Description

We are looking for experienced Snowflake + dbt Developers with strong expertise in cloud data warehousing, data transformation, SQL, and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows using Snowflake and dbt.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, tables, and stored procedures.
- Build and maintain data transformation pipelines using dbt (Data Build Tool).
- Develop dbt models, incremental models, snapshots, tests, macros, and reusable transformations.
- Implement data quality checks and data validation using dbt testing frameworks.
- Work with dbt documentation, lineage, dependencies, and source/target configurations.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake workloads.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for integrating data from multiple sources.
- Implement data cleansing, transformation, aggregation, and business logic.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Architects,



and business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, data quality issues, and performance problems.
- Follow best practices for data modeling, development, testing, and deployment.
- Use Git and CI/CD practices for managing and deploying data transformation code.

Required Skills

- 5–12 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong hands-on experience with dbt.
- Excellent SQL skills.
- Experience in ETL/ELT development.
- Positive understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with dimensional data modeling – Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, facts and dimensions.
- Experience with dbt models, tests, snapshots, macros, sources, and incremental loads.
- Knowledge of Snowflake performance optimization, warehouses, stages, streams/tasks, and data loading.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Good understanding of data quality, data governance, and data validation.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.
- Experience with Python or any ETL/data integration tool is a plus.
