Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
- Integrate databases, third-party APIs, and external services
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2)
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Debug and resolve production issues

Required Skills

- Backend Development - Solid experience with Node.js frameworks: Express.js, NestJS
- Databases - SQL: MySQL / PostgreSQL; NoSQL: MongoDB
- API Architecture - REST API design; Microservices architecture; Asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await)




- Additional Technical Skills - Caching with Redis; Message queues like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ; Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Cloud platforms - Amazon Web Services
- Security Best Practices - Knowledge of API security (CORS, rate limiting)
- Authentication - JWT, OAuth2
- Secure coding practices
