Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O; Technical Consultant

Contract Duration: 2 to 3 Months

Engagement: Full time commitment during the contract period

We are looking for a hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;) Technical Consultant having 4 to 10 years of experience, for a short-term, full-time engagement. The consultant will primarily work on report development, SSRS reports, technical enhancements, and basic integrations within D365 F&O.;

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, modify, and troubleshoot SSRS reports in D365 F&O.;

- Develop new reports and customize existing standard D365 reports based on business requirements.

- Work on basic integrations between D365 F&O; and external applications/systems.

- Develop and support integrations using appropriate D365 technologies, APIs, Data Entities, OData, or related integration frameworks.

- Perform technical development and customizations using X++ and Visual Studio.

- Work with Data Entities, Electronic Reporting/reporting frameworks, queries, tables, classes, forms, extensions, and batch processes as required.

- Analyze functional requirements and convert them into appropriate technical solutions.

- Debug and resolve technical issues related to reports, integrations, and D365 customizations.

- Follow Microsoft-recommended extension-based development and coding best practices.





- Coordinate effectively with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver requirements within agreed timelines.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

- Strong knowledge of X++ development and D365 F&O; technical architecture.

- Good hands-on experience in SSRS report development and customization.

- Experience developing and troubleshooting D365 F&O; integrations.

- Good understanding of Data Entities, OData/API integrations, batch framework, queries, tables, classes, and extensions.

- Working knowledge of Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.

- Ability to independently analyze technical requirements and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Profile

- Prior experience working on D365 F&O; implementation or support projects.

- Ability to quickly understand existing customizations and technical architecture.

- Experience working directly with functional consultants and converting functional specifications into technical developments.

- Ability to work independently and meet aggressive project timelines.

Important: This is a full-time contract position for 2 to 3 months and is not a part-time or freelance-hours engagement.
