Senior executive/ Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance (Account receivable)- Navi Mumbai.

Role & responsibilities :

1. Accounts Receivable Management

Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable accounting and control processes.

Ensure timely and accurate accounting of customer receipts, adjustments, debit/credit notes and other receivable transactions.

Review customer ledgers and ensure accuracy and completeness of balances.

Monitor open items and drive timely closure of long-pending transactions.

Ensure appropriate accounting treatment and documentation for receivable-related entries.

2. Collections & Ageing Management

Monitor customer outstanding and ageing on a regular basis.

Track overdue receivables and coordinate with Sales/Commercial teams for collection.

Prepare and circulate ageing reports with clear visibility of overdue and high-risk accounts.

Drive follow-ups and action plans for long-outstanding receivables.

Identify collection risks and escalate critical cases to relevant stakeholders.

Support improvement in DSO and overall working-capital efficiency.

3. Customer Reconciliation & Account Closure

Drive periodic customer ledger reconciliations and balance confirmations.

Investigate and resolve differences relating to payments, deductions, short receipts, credit notes and other open items.





Coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers for timely resolution of reconciliation issues.

Ensure ageing hygiene by closing unidentified and unresolved items within defined timelines.

4. Receipts & Collection Accounting

Ensure timely accounting and allocation of customer receipts against relevant invoices.

Monitor unallocated/on-account receipts and drive timely adjustment.

Review bank receipts and ensure accurate customer mapping.

Coordinate with relevant teams for unidentified receipts and payment discrepancies.

Preferred Candidate:

Education - MBA in finance/M.com/CMA/CA inter

Experience - 3-8 Years Post Qualification Experience in Accounts Receivable & Collections will be the core responsibility of this role. Candidate must have hands-on experience in customer reconciliation, ageing management, collection tracking, receipt accounting and month-end AR closure. Robust SAP/ERP and Excel exposure is required. Preference for candidates from manufacturing organizations handling a large customer/distributor base.
