Role & responsibilities

- Manage indirect procurement of Electrical & Instrumentation services supporting captive thermal power plants, pulp mills, paper machines, Engineering / Non Engineering contracts and other BOP equipment & systems.
- Identify, develop, and on board recent service vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships, including vendor performance evaluation and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Finance teams to ensure alignment.
- Ensure technical and scope sign-offs in coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct techno-commercial negotiations to achieve optimal cost and service outcomes.
- Prepare and manage RFQs, CSQs, and approval documentation.
- Monitor timely service delivery, including vendor site visits when required.
- Possess strong knowledge of indirect procurement terms, conditions, and payment structures.




- Well-versed in the end-to-end service contract lifecycle, including procedures, manpower management, statutory compliance, internal costings, negotiation governance, and performance monitoring.
- Efficiently manage multiple contracts, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely renewals, amendments, and prioritization across competing requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- 6-12 years of experience in Indirect Procurement related Electrical & Instrumentation services in manufacturing organizations.
- Must have SAP working environment experience.
- Experience with Pulp & paper industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Should have good knowledge about computers and well versed with MS Excel.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
