- Design, install, test, and maintain optical fiber networks for telecommunications companies.
- Conduct site surveys to identify potential issues with existing infrastructure and develop plans for upgrades or repairs.
- Perform fault rectification activities such as OTDR testing and power meter calibration to ensure optimal network performance.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues related to fiber optic communications.
Job Requirements :
- 0.6-8 years of experience in the field of fiber optics or a related discipline.
- Robust knowledge of ISP (Internet Service Provider) networks and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) protocols.
- Proficiency in fiber splicing techniques using OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) materials.
