Key Responsibilities

Lead Accounts Payable Process Improvement and automation Initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen controls and ensure regulatory compliance

Manage and coordinate Internal, Process and Statutory Audit. Ensure timely submission of data, closure of observations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Preparation and review of related Schedules

Prepare, review and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documents for all assigned processes, Ensure SOPs are regularly updated in line with business requirements, regulatory changes and internal control standards

Manage Vendor master creation and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to organization policies and maker- checker controls

Act as SPOC for various compliance activities including Data Protection, BCP, Risk Management etc. and ensure adherence to applicable policies and controls

Measure of Success:

Timely and successful implementation of identified Process improvement and automation initiatives

Timely review and update related SOPs

Timely submission of audit data and closure of queries

Vendor creation and modifications with defined TAT





Correctness of all related transactions

No High aging/exception items in related schedules

Desired Qualification and Experience

;

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Post Graduate in commerce and/or MBA with minimum 5-7 years of experience

;

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

o Sound knowledge of accounting, preferably in insurance sector

o Proficiency in MS-Excel, SQL, VBA/Macros and automations tools

o Proven experience in a similar role in Insurance/Financial Services

o Familiarity with Oracle ERP System

o Robust understanding of Life Insurance Finance processes, internal controls and statutory requirements

o Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders

o Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced envir
