Position Overview
The Enrollment Advisor position at EC-Council University offers a rewarding career in the highly growing field of cyber security education. The Enrollment Advisor is a key member or EC-Council University s student-centered support model that begins with attracting, guiding, enrolling, and setting the stage for the success of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for prospective students considering enrolling at EC-Council University
- Proactively reach out, contact, and engage prospective students via telephone, email, click to chat and text messaging about their future with the goal of enrollment into EC-Council University
- Demonstrate sensitivity and ability to effectively relate to and work with prospective students from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- Conduct conversations with prospective students to assess needs, showcase the benefits of an EC-Council University education, and facilitate enrollment into the University
- Ensure students successfully move through the admissions process from the point of application through class/term start within designated timelines
- Meets minimum levels of daily/weekly/term activities, performance indicators (KPI s), and achieves assigned performance goals
- Demonstrate a high level of product/program knowledge and industry related data and statistics (i.e., employment opportunities, salaries, etc.)
- Manage, update,
maintain prospective/current student database (CRM) on a daily basis
- Successful collection/submission of required student application paperwork and documentation
- Maintain accurate knowledge of the University s catalog, policies, procedures, regulations, etc.
- Conducts all recruitment/admissions activities in a fully ethical and compliant manner
- Create relationships that lead to referral/inquiry generation through engaging current students, alumni, businesses, community organizations, etc.
- Work effectively with co-workers as part of the student services team to ensure each student s experience with the University is professional, service-focused, and productive
- Support and contribute to EC-Council s commitment to diversity and inclusion
Required Skills Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor s degree strongly preferred; EC-Council University will consider meaningful educational, work and/or military experience in exchange for degree requirements where appropriate
- Minimum 1 year experience in Student Recruiting, Admissions Enrollment advising, or related field
- Minimum of one year in a results-oriented, consultative sales or marketing position demonstrating robust probing, questioning, and presentation skills including the ability to overcome objections
- Possesses superior interpersonal skills
- Experience working with clients/customers representing multiple stages of life and diverse backgrounds/experiences
- Possesses strong time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and one Saturday/month hours
- Proven ability to achieve goals, influence others, and meet deadlines
