Job Title: Deputy Manager- Plant IT

Location: Ludhiana/Panipat

Experience: 5-8 Years

Reporting to: Lead Plant IT

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech – CS / IT/ E&C;( Full Time)

Working days - 6 days a week ( Mon-Sat)

Shift - Day, General - 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

There is no company accommodation/quarter facility, Only Canteen + Transportation is subsidy basis is available

This is purely plant-based role and plant based exp is mandatory in this.

No IT Companies candidates

The IT guy at plant will be supported by set of people (24X7) on contract by service provider (like wipro, IBM) and hence team handling experience is must.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintaining & Ensuring the Uptime of all internal IT/OT hardware like Desktops, Laptops, Network Switches, Media converts, CCTV, EPABX etc.
- Responsible for maintaining the uptime of all servers used for plant automation and the associated IT infrastructure.
- Maintaining uptime of all active and passive components and the networking infrastructure including Internet lines(ILL).
- Cyber Security- Firmware updates of network switches,



access control to IT hardware & Software, Antivirus update, Software backups, change management, Information security management system etc.
- SAP Implementation & testing in coordination with central IT team.
- Providing support to the internal plant team for any Local IT related issues and resolution of the same.
- IOT based platforms like, Visitor Management, People Management, truck management, EHS portal, Attendance management System.
- Interfacing & integration of third party systems using Open platform communication.

Must have Skills

- Hands-on experience on IT hardware like servers, CISCO managed/unmanaged switches, networking.
- Hands-on experience on Open Platform Communication like Matrikon, Kepware etc.
- Positive knowledge on cyber security related requirement.
- Knowledge on Extended Warehouse management (EWM) by SAP and other SAP modules like PM, MM, PP, QM, PLM
