Designation: Software Test Engineer (STE). Domain: Banking. Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled FASTag Tester with 3-5 years of experience in application testing within the Banking, Payments,. The candidate should have hands-on experience in testing FASTag, NPCI payment systems, transaction processing, APIs, and integration testing. The role involves validating end-to-end FASTag lifecycle management, toll transactions, recharge processes, and settlement workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Functional, Integration, System, and Regression Testing for FASTag applications.
- Validate FASTag issuance, activation, replacement, closure, and recharge journeys.
- Test end-to-end toll transaction processing across acquiring and issuing banks.
- Verify vehicle class mapping, wallet linking, blacklist/whitelist functionality, and balance validation.
- Validate transaction settlement, reconciliation, and dispute management processes.




- Execute API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Analyze business requirements, prepare test scenarios, test cases, and execute test cycles.
- Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Business, Development, and Production Support teams for issue resolution.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, and Production Validation activities.
- Prepare Daily Status Reports, Test Summary Reports, and Defect Metrics.

Mandatory Skills

- 3-5 years of Manual Testing experience.
- Hands-on experience in FASTag Testing.
- Good understanding of NPCI FASTag Ecosystem.
- Experience in testing: FASTag Issuance FASTag Recharge Tag Closure Replacement Wallet Transfer Toll Plaza Transactions
