Role & responsibilities

Sr. Manager / DGM - Planning, Logistics & Warehousing will lead the end-to-end supply chain planning and execution for brand's all formats and channels.

The role is responsible for ensuring best-in-class product availability, freshness, inventory productivity, logistics efficiency, and warehouse operations while supporting profitable growth.

The incumbent will lead Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Replenishment, Warehousing, Transportation, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Excellence through a customer-first and data-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for integrated Planning (Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Supply Planning) for all Stores across all categories (FMCG, STAPLES, FnV, FnM, DCF, BAKERY)
- Manage a team of 6-7 associates & ensure best-in-class Stock Availability while optimizing Working Capital & Logistics/Warehousing costs.
- Coordinate with vendor-Partners to ensure higher Fill-Rate & OTIF levels across DSD (Direct Store Delivery) & DC (Distr. Centre) Supplies




- Analyze process data and work with stakeholders to improve on process efficiency.
- Ensure healthy Demand forecasting process and improving Forecast Accuracy/Bias
- Very high coordination with Category on Vendor issues, Recent Vendor listings, Manual Ordering etc.
- Constant focus on Unhealthy Inventory & Non-Moving Inventory & work with category & Vendors on RTV processing through Stores / DC(s)
- Regularly Collaborate with Category, Merchandising, Finance, Operations, and E-commerce teams.
- Manage 3rd Party relationships with DC Service provider(s) and Logistics Operators to ensure seamless Inventory movement across DC(s) & Stores.
- Manage end-to-end Cost budget related to Distribution Centre Operations and Transportation from DC to Stores

The incumbent should have minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Retail Supply Chain (Grocery Retail / Gourmet Retail preferred) or FMCG Supply Chain.
