Responsibilities

- PRD/BRD Ownership and Requirement Documentation - Write detailed PRDs and BRDs covering business context, problem statement, objectives, scope, user journeys, functional requirements, non-functional requirements, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and success metrics.
- Convert business requirements into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, error scenarios, and Definition of Ready/Definition of Done inputs.
- Create requirement traceability across BRD, PRD, user stories, test scenarios, release notes, and final delivered functionality.
- Run structured requirement clarification sessions with business, design, technology, QA, operations, compliance, and analytics teams.
- Maintain version-controlled documentation in Jira/Confluence and ensure requirements remain current through design, build, testing, and release stages.
- Technical Product Ownership - Work with digital squads to translate PRD/BRD requirements into technical tasks, APIs, data requirements, integration needs, and test scenarios.
- Conduct backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews,



and story walkthroughs with a strong focus on requirement clarity and completeness.
- Coordinate with development leads, QA teams, solution architects, data teams, and external vendors to resolve requirement gaps and delivery blockers.
- Review test cases against acceptance criteria and support UAT readiness through clear scenario documentation.
- Ensure stories meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done before build and release closure.

Qualifications

- Education - B.Tech in CS/IT preferred; MBA desirable.
- Exceptions allowed for candidates with robust prior PO/PM experience.
- Experience - 5-10 years of experience in digital product ownership/management.
- Experience in agile product development; fintech, digital banking, or tech startups preferred.
