We're Hiring: Operations & Sourcing Executive

Auto Parts Distribution | Karol Bagh, Delhi

About the Role

We're looking for someone to take on complete customer requirement handling for our auto parts distribution business — covering e-rickshaw, electric 2-wheeler, and diesel 3-wheeler parts. This isn't a narrow, fixed-task job. You'll be trained hands-on across sourcing, verification, and day-to-day shop operations, with real room to grow into a position of greater responsibility and pay as you build experience with us.

What You'll Do

- Follow up with customers each morning on orders that are due
- Source items — both from our warehouse stock and from the market — including items where you'll need to figure out exactly what a customer needs and go find it
- Personally go into the warehouse to retrieve items, or out to the market to pick up or deliver, whenever needed
- Verify items by hand against the order before billing — written clearly enough for our billing staff to read at a glance
- Handle counter sales and incoming calls, and attend to visiting vendors/manufacturers when the owner isn't around
- Juggle several of the above at once — this is a fast-moving shop floor, not a one-task-at-a-time desk job

Growth Path

- You'll get direct, hands-on mentorship from the owner during your training period, including dedicated daily time (about 2 extra hours) to learn our product catalog, sourcing routes, and pricing
- As you build product knowledge and trust,



you'll take on independent ownership of sourcing, verification, and daily operations
- Responsibilities and pay grow with demonstrated ability — this isn't a role where you stay fixed to a job description
- We check in regularly on how you're progressing, so growth here isn't a vague promise — it's something we track with you.

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years' experience in auto parts, hardware, or similar trade/wholesale distribution (counter sales or operations) preferred
- Comfortable learning a large, technical product catalog and genuinely interested in getting good at it
- Confident and explicit on the phone with customers
- Comfortable negotiating prices directly with vendors in the market
- Neat, legible handwriting — verification is recorded by hand before billing
- Willing to do real legwork — going out to the market to pick up or deliver items is a regular part of this role, not an occasional ask
- Calm, soft-spoken, and steady — someone who settles well into an established team and earns trust over time
- Proactive — you take initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do next
- Comfortable with your responsibilities evolving as you grow into the role

Skill Sets Required





Industry background — 2+ years in auto parts, hardware, or similar trade/wholesale distribution (counter sales or operations preferred)

Product aptitude — comfortable learning a large, technical product catalog across multiple vehicle categories

Phone communication — clear, confident with customers on order follow-ups

Market/negotiation skills — comfortable negotiating prices directly with vendors

Handwriting — neat and legible, since verification is recorded by hand before billing

Willingness for legwork — comfortable going out to the market for pickups/deliveries, not a desk-only mindset

Temperament — soft-spoken, calm, and able to settle into an established team and earn trust over time

Ownership mindset — proactive, takes initiative rather than waiting to be told

Adaptability — comfortable with responsibilities evolving over time

Multitasking — able to juggle counter sales, calls, sourcing, and verification without dropping things

Coachability — genuinely wants to grow into more responsibility

- Salary based on experience, with a clear path to higher pay as you take on independent sourcing and verification (discussed at interview)
