About the RoleBUROSYS Furniture is looking for a Junior Interior Designer with an interest in modular office furniture design and technical shop drawings.

The role will primarily involve preparing detailed drawings for modular workstations, storage units, meeting tables, reception counters, partitions and other office furniture for manufacturing and installation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys converting design concepts and site measurements into accurate, production-ready drawings.

- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed shop drawings and working drawings for modular office furniture
- Develop drawings for workstations, storage, tables, reception desks, partitions and related furniture
- Convert design concepts, layouts and measurements into accurate manufacturing drawings
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections and detailed furniture drawings
- Incorporate hardware, materials, dimensions and construction details into drawings
- Coordinate with the production and manufacturing team to ensure drawings are practical and production-friendly
- Review site measurements and make necessary adjustments to drawings
- Coordinate with the sales/design team on revisions and client requirements
- Prepare drawings for approval before production




- Make revisions based on client, site or production requirements
- Maintain proper drawing files and revisions for ongoing projects
- Skills & Requirements1–3 years of experience in interior design, furniture design or modular furniture detailing
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is essential
- Ability to prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings
- Valuable understanding of furniture construction, dimensions, materials and hardware
- Ability to read and understand architectural and interior layouts
- Knowledge of modular office furniture will be a strong advantage
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D software or other design software is an advantage
- Good understanding of MS Office / Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with deadlines and coordinate with multiple teams

Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented and interested in furniture manufacturing, rather than someone focused only on interior styling.

Candidates with experience in office furniture, modular furniture, commercial interiors, workstation design or furniture manufacturing will be preferred.

The candidate should be willing to work closely with the design, sales, production and installation teams.
