Job Summary

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality assurance across Non-Motor Insurance applications by embedding quality practices throughout the SDLC lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- The role will support Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing, release quality certification, stakeholder governance, and production quality improvement initiatives.
- Tester will be primarily working on the below applications with the flexibility to work in other applications on need basis. InsureX / Insillion FirstGen HSCOPE AI-enabled Solutions Other applications:
- End-to-end business process validation.
- Regression testing and release validation.
- API Testing (Postman/Swagger).
- SQL and Data Validation.
- Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Understanding of CI/CD and Continuous Testing practices.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks is advantageous.
- Knowledge of: Underwriting Policy Administration Endorsements Renewals Product Configuration Broker and Banca channels.
- Commercial - Critical: Fire (Standard Fire & Standard Perils), Marine Cargo, Contractors, Plant & Machinery, Engineering All Risk, Contractors All Risk, Liability, Group Health, PA, Workmen's Compensation, Retail - Non Motor Health, Travel, Personal Accident, Hospital Cash.




- Tester will primarily work on listed and related applications including InsureX, Insillion, FirstGen, HSCOPE, AI-enabled Solutions; Website Digital Platforms; Banca Applications; Data & Integration Projects; RPA Solutions.

Requirements

- 3 to 8 years of Quality Engineering / Testing experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years in Insurance applications.
- Experience handling business-facing onsite roles.
- Experience working with distributed delivery and vendor teams.
- Requirement defects identified before development.
- Test coverage and quality gate compliance.
- Reduction in production defect leakage.
- On-time ST/SIT/UAT/release certification.
- Business stakeholder satisfaction.
- Improvement in Production Quality KPIs.
