Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day cinema operations and ensure smooth functioning of all operational areas.
- Supervise Box Office, Concessions/F&B;, Floor Operations and Housekeeping.
- Lead daily team briefings and communicate targets, priorities and operational requirements.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer complaints.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, attendance and performance.
- Prepare and manage manpower rosters for optimum staff utilization.
- Monitor manpower costs and ensure effective manpower deployment.
- Manage cash floats, imprest, shift banking, reconciliation and shortage control.
- Ensure strict compliance with cash-handling procedures and prevent revenue leakage.
- Monitor product quality, cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation and service standards.
- Drive F&B; sales through suggestive selling, merchandising and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor stock levels and support regular inventory checks.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, statutory and legal requirements.
- Maintain operational records, registers and required documentation.




- Ensure proper display of promotional, commercial and operational communication.
- Coordinate with Programming, Marketing, Security, Housekeeping and other support teams.
- Conduct regular operational and compliance checks.
- Support employee induction, training, coaching and performance management.
- Handle operational issues and customer escalations professionally.
- Coordinate with local authorities/statutory bodies whenever required.
- Take complete responsibility for cinema operations during assigned shifts.
- Maintain a hands-on approach during peak hours, weekends and holidays.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Cinema Manager.

Preferred candidate profile

2 - 5 years of supervisory/operations experience, preferably in:

- Cinema / Multiplex
- Hotels / Hospitality
- Food & Beverage
- Retail
- QSR
- Entertainment
- Customer Service

Candidates from Hospitality/F&B; backgrounds with robust team-handling and customer-service experience are encouraged to apply.
