Job Description JD : Mandatory - RDBMS - MySQL NoSQL (either MongoDB or Cassandra ) Proficiency in any one programming language How will we evaluate you? ( not limited to ) 1. Proven experience with InnoDB engine internals. 2. Proven experience with the MySQL query optimizer. 3. Automation mindset. This is not a a typical manual admin profile. 4. Proven database migration experience. If you focus on details, it will be positive for us to understand you. 5. Proven experience with database upgrades. Say, 8-8.4 6. Proven troubleshooting experience. 7. Experience working with data sizes in the TB range and large clusters (e.g., 20-50 nodes per cluster) is beneficial. 8.



Good if you are able to convert business use cases to technical. 9. Proven experience with the WiredTiger engine. 10. Good understanding of sharding, partitioning, sharded clusters, replication, HA, and DR. We will evaluate based on these. Preferred but not mandatory: 1. Good understanding of OLAP databases. 3. Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and containers. 4. Cloud SQL and RDS What we don't need? 1. Just user, table, and database creation, installation, and uninstallation. 2. A non-problem-solving attitude.
