We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a portfolio of clients across the UAE and Qatar. This role is responsible for managing accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and client onboarding activities while ensuring adherence to IFRS and local regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, international accounting exposure, and the ability to work directly with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage accounting and financial reporting activities for a portfolio of international clients.
- Lead the onboarding of new clients and ensure timely service delivery.
- Prepare, review, test, and reconcile financial data and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Review work completed by junior accountants and provide guidance where required.
- Coordinate with clients, auditors, and internal teams on accounting and reporting matters.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.




- Monitor internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Participate in client meetings and maintain robust professional relationships.
- Deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant accounting, financial reporting, and audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial statement preparation.
- Experience in international/global accounting environments.
- Exposure to UAE and/or Qatar accounting and reporting requirements is preferred.
- Strong experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems such as Focus, Zoho, NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERPs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience reviewing or mentoring junior team members is an advantage.
