Role & responsibilities

Materials Planning, Procurement and Inventory Management, Purchase of BOM Parts

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1.MRP run and parts procurement in line with the Production Plan. Scheduling and Follow-up with Local and Overseas Suppliers.

2.Maintain the Buffer stock and total inventory level as per set norms.

3. Ensure 0” line stoppage due to non-availability of materials.

4.Preparation of shortage reports on a daily basis and follow up with Suppliers.

5 Development of Motor Parts – Electronics and Mechanical (All commodities)

6 BOM Cost and business study – Costing of All the parts like sheet metal, Casting, Machining

7 Purchase system and procedure establishment and follow up

8.Updation of Manufacturing BOM and ECN in System

9.Control of consumable & self-life items as per Production requirement to avoid expiry issue.

10.MIS preparation, Gap analysis and report to Management.

11. Monitor & work with suppliers to improve performance in terms of delivery & customer satisfaction.

Knowledge of Material Planning & Production Planning/Purchase process/ Technical development

Skills:

Commercial /Technical / Analysis & Presentation Skill

Abilities:

Coordination with Cross functional departments and Suppliers.

Technical knowledge of Procurement Process, Costing, SAP, Excellent in Excel

1.Positive knowledge of SAP (PP & MM Module) and MS office(Very proficient in MS excel)

Experience: 4+ Years
Qualification: B tech/Diploma (Regular)
Specific technical qualification/certification: Mechanical
