About the Role:

We're hiring a Technology Consultant to serve as the dedicated technology advisor to the Compliance, Legal, and HR/People leadership team at a U.S.-based healthcare organization. This is a high-visibility, director-level individual contributor role - no direct reports, but real influence over technology strategy and vendor decisions for these functions.

You'll be the go-to technology partner these leaders trust to translate business and regulatory needs into practical technology solutions, and to represent their interests in front of the Executive Leadership Team.

What You'll Do:

Partner directly with Compliance, Legal, and HR leadership to identify technology risks, gaps, and opportunities

Advise on technology strategy for HR systems, policy/compliance tooling, and legal operations platforms

Lead vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and ongoing vendor performance management

Support BAA reviews and translate regulatory requirements (HIPAA and related) into explicit technology controls

Build executive-ready risk summaries, business cases, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership

Present confidently to ELT members and steering committees

What You Bring:





10+ years in technology strategy, enterprise consulting, or compliance/GRC technology roles

Experience advising or partnering with Compliance, Legal, or HR leadership, ideally in a regulated industry

Strong vendor management background - contract negotiation, performance oversight, roadmap awareness

Excellent executive communication skills - comfortable presenting to senior leadership and simplifying complex topics

Working knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy, or similar regulatory frameworks

Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes without formal authority over a team

Nice to Have:

Direct healthcare industry experience

Familiarity with HR/compliance platforms such as Workday, UKG, Dayforce, Navex, or similar tools

A track record of specific, named consulting outcomes - not just general process experience
