Role Overview
Join the SD-WAN Networking & Security team responsible for building high-performance packet processing, forwarding, and security services. The role focuses on software data plane development, networking infrastructure, security services, and cloud-native networking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop networking and security features for the SD-WAN platform.
- Build and enhance high-performance software data plane components using VPP, DPDK, and related packet-processing technologies.
- Develop forwarding, traffic steering, QoS, visibility, and security services.
- Integrate open-source and third-party networking/security solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex networking, security, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Required Skills
Data Plane & Systems
- Strong C/C++ development experience (Golang is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with VPP, DPDK, packet processing, forwarding, Linux systems programming, and performance optimization.
Networking & Security
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, and SD-WAN architectures.
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
- IPSec
- Firewall / Zone-Based Firewall
- IDS/IPS
- Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
- DPI
- QoS
- SASE/SSE technologies
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, gRPC, and distributed systems.
Desirable Skills
Experience developing CNFs/VNFs.
Experience with programmable packet pipelines.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, gRPC, and distributed systems.
Experience integrating with security platforms such as Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks NGFW, or similar security ecosystems.Role & responsibilities
