Job Summary

Job Title: Design Engineer. Location: Chennai. We are looking for a Design Engineer who will support the design of racking systems based on customer requirements. The role involves working closely with the Sales Engineer, preparing basic design drawings, creating Bills of Material (BOM), and updating customer details in the CRM system. Good understanding and experience in using AutoCAD (2D). Willingness to learn racking design and material planning. Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or data entry. Good communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil or related field).

Requirements

- Working knowledge in 2D Auto CAD system
- Fluent in English/Tamil - Read/Write/Speak

Responsibilities

- Collect design requirements and project details from the Sales Engineer.
- Prepare racking designs as per customer needs using design software.
- Update Bills of Material (BOM) for the designs.




- Enter and maintain current customer details in the CRM, including contact information.
- Maintain proper design and project documentation.
- Assist the team with basic design-related tasks as required.
- Good understanding and experience in using AutoCAD.
- Willingness to learn racking design and material planning.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or data entry.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
