Role & responsibilities

- Develop and maintain vehicle architecture and package layouts based on vehicle-level requirements.
- Work on vehicle hard points, package dimensions, wheel/tire positions, seating positions, and major component locations.
- Understand vehicle packaging constraints related to body, chassis, powertrain, battery, interiors, and closures.
- Perform DMU (Digital Mock-Up) studies and identify packaging/interference issues.
- Support definition and optimization of vehicle-level architecture and component interfaces.
- Coordinate with Styling, BIW, Chassis, Powertrain, Interior, Manufacturing, and CAE teams.
- Evaluate design changes for packaging, feasibility, clearance, and integration.
- Support vehicle-level design reviews and resolve cross-functional issues.

Preferred candidate profile

- Create and modify automotive surfaces using Siemens NX/UG NX.




- Develop surfaces based on styling/Class-A requirements and design intent.
- Perform surface creation, modification, trimming, blending, and patching.
- Maintain required G0, G1, and G2 continuity between surfaces.
- Analyze and improve surface quality using zebra, reflection, curvature, and highlight analysis.
- Ensure surface fairness and smooth transitions across vehicle exterior/interior components.
- Support conversion/refinement of styling data into engineering-feasible surfaces.
- Develop surfaces considering manufacturing, assembly, and engineering constraints.
- Perform surface validation and ensure CAD data meets project requirements.
