Role OverviewThe Warehouse Incharge will lead the daily operations of the tableware storage and distribution facility. In an industry where products are fragile and prone to damage, the ideal candidate will ensure the flawless receipt, safe storage, delicate handling, and accurate, timely dispatch of tableware to domestic and international markets. [1]Key Responsibilities1. Delicate Stock Management & Quality Control [1]

- Inspect incoming shipments of porcelain, glassware, or ceramic items for damages, chips, or cracks prior to intake.
- Supervise the specialized packing and repacking of fragile items using appropriate cushioning, bubble wrap, and corrugated boxes.
- Ensure strict adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to manage inventory freshness and prevent discoloration of stored goods. [1, 2, 3, 4]

2. Inventory Control & Auditing [1]

- Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and daily physical versus ERP (SAP/Oracle) stock reconciliation.
- Oversee exact documentation and tagging for different categories, sizes, and collections of tableware.
- Monitor "slow-moving" or dead stock and report to the management team. [1, 2]

3. Dispatch & Logistics Operations

- Coordinate with sales and dispatch teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Verify that outbound shipments include accurate documents (Invoice, Packing List, E-Way Bill)



and load containers securely to prevent in-transit breakage.
- Negotiate and coordinate with transport agencies to ensure cost-effective and safe delivery. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

4. Warehouse Administration & Team Leadership [1]

- Manage, train, and schedule the warehouse staff, assigning tasks for receiving, picking, packing, and loading.
- Maintain safety protocols and housekeeping (5S) standards, especially regarding the safe disposal of broken or sharp materials.
- Track daily KPIs (e.g., dispatch turnaround time, picking error rate, and damage claims) to report to the Operations Manager. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 35 years of proven experience in warehouse/logistics management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Prior experience handling delicate tableware, glass wares , cutlery .
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
