In this role, you will work with the companys compliance and litigation attorneys on compliance investigations, participate in compliance training development and delivery, assess and develop compliance policies, and manage aspects of an anti-bribery due diligence program. You will also be asked to support one of the company s sales segments with customer negotiations and transactions, which may dovetail with compliance insights and tasks.
As a Legal Professional, you will support a wide range of legal and commercial activities, including drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and legal documentation. You will work closely with legal colleagues and business stakeholders to ensure documents are accurate, compliant, and delivered within required timelines. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to legal operations, contract management, and special projects while supporting a global business environment.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize and manage work effectively under tight schedules while maintaining excellent organisational standards.
- Produce, amend, and format accurate legal documents, letters, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documentation.
- Take, prepare, distribute, and maintain meeting minutes where required.
- Summarize legal documents and correspondence.
- Draft legal documentation,
including contracts from approved templates and contractual provisions under guidance from senior legal professionals.
- Proofread legal documents to ensure consistency, accuracy, formatting compliance, and correct cross-referencing.
- Review and update clauses across legal templates as needed.
- Support legal projects and other initiatives as requested.
Requirements
- Experience working within a legal team in either a law firm or in-house legal environment.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft and review legal documents.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and legal principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Report writing and project management skills would be advantageous.
- Experience using software, systems, applications, or AI tools relevant to legal practice is preferred.
