Key Responsibilities:

- Work on the development, improvement and optimization of existing Vat Dye products and shades.
- Perform testing and evaluation of Vat Dyes as per approved specifications and test methods.
- Carry out shade matching, comparative evaluation and colour performance testing.
- Evaluate product parameters such as strength, shade, tone and other relevant physical and chemical properties.
- Conduct trials based on customer, market and business requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory trials, formulations, test results and observations.
- Prepare development and trial reports with clear conclusions and recommendations.
- Support Production during scale-up and commercialization of laboratory-developed products.
- Investigate product, process and batch-related technical issues and support troubleshooting.
- Work closely with Production, Quality and Technical teams to resolve development and quality-related concerns.
- Ensure timely completion of development activities to support business requirements and commercialization timelines.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, quality systems,



EHS requirements and secure chemical handling practices.
- Maintain laboratory chemicals, samples, standards, equipment and documentation in an organized manner.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or equivalent.
- 26 years of relevant experience in Dyes, Pigments or Specialty Chemicals.
- Hands-on experience in Vat Dyes laboratory work will be strongly preferred.
- Experience in laboratory testing, product development and chemical trials.
- Knowledge of dye testing, colour evaluation and shade matching.
- Experience in troubleshooting and process/product optimization.
- Exposure to manufacturing scale-up will be an added advantage.
- Ability to independently plan, execute and document laboratory trials.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and observation skills.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Candidates residing in or willing to relocate/commute to Ambernath, Kalyan, Badlapur, Ulhasnagar, Dombivli or nearby locations will be preferred.
