Position Overview
We are looking for passionate STEM robotics curriculum developers who can create, review,
and rene hands-on learning materials for K-12 students. If you have built and taught with
robotics kits and microcontrollers, understand how young learners approach engineering
problems, and can turn that into clear, classroom-ready lessons, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, review, and enhance robotics and STEM curriculum for K-12
students, spanning block-based and text-based programming.
Design build guides, coding activities, and engineering challenges for
platforms such as LEGO Education SPIKE, VEX robotics, Arduino, Raspberry
Pi, and micro:bit.
Prototype, build, and test every activity before it reaches a classroom, and
document parts lists, wiring, assembly steps, and troubleshooting notes.
Apply instructional design principles to ensure clarity, engagement, and
effectiveness across a range of grade levels.
Create structured lesson plans, activities, rubrics, and assessments aligned
with educational standards.
Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback on curriculum




materials.
Ensure technical accuracy, coherence, safety, and pedagogical soundness in all
content.

Qualications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related
technical eld. Candidates from any engineering background are welcome.
Four years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or
STEM teaching.
Extensive hands-on experience building, programming, and troubleshooting
robotics systems.
Demonstrated experience developing curriculum or instructional materials for
robotics kits such as LEGO Education SPIKE and VEX robotics.
Working knowledge of electronics platforms including Arduino, Raspberry Pi,
and micro:bit, along with common sensors and actuators.
Prociency in Python, with familiarity in at least one other language such as
C++, Scratch, or JavaScript.
Solid understanding of pedagogy and how students learn technical concepts.
Excellent writing skills and the ability to present technical topics in a
structured and engaging manner.
Preferred Qualications:
Prior experience in K-12 education, whether teaching, coaching, or curriculum
design.
Experience mentoring or judging robotics competitions such as FIRST, VEX, or
WRO.
Familiarity with CAD, 3D printing, or physical prototyping tools.
Background in instructional design or learning sciences.
