We are looking for an experienced Welding Shop Floor Supervisor to oversee day-to-day welding shop floor operations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of various welding processes, excellent manpower management skills, and the ability to ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and monitor all welding shop floor activities.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor daily production work to meet production schedules.
- Lead and manage a team of 60-70 welders, fitters, and shop floor personnel.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Maintain production quality as per customer specifications and company standards.
- Ensure adherence to welding procedures and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth workflow.
- Monitor productivity, reduce rework, and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure implementation of safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.




- Conduct daily toolbox talks and monitor discipline on the shop floor.
- Maintain production records, attendance, shift reports, and work progress reports.
- Train and guide operators on welding techniques, quality standards, and safety practices.
- Troubleshoot welding-related issues and provide technical guidance to the team.

Technical Skills Required:

- Robust hands-on knowledge of:
- Arc Welding (SMAW)
- MIG Welding (GMAW)
- TIG Welding (GTAW)
- CO2 Welding
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and fabrication layouts.
- Knowledge of welding symbols, WPS, fabrication processes, and quality inspection standards.
- Familiarity with welding defects, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
