Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Operations:
a. Perform infrastructure operations activities such as working on Incidents, attending priority issues, resolving and recommending solutions to the business.
b. Change management: Requirement gathering Change Creation using Ticketing tool.
c. Implementation: Working on several firewalls to implement the changes according to the change business requirement.
d. Working on complex routing to identify the issues related to network.

2. Maintain Infrastructure:
a. Perform activities related to ongoing maintenance of infrastructure, Assist the implementation of agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines.

3. Optimise Infrastructure Performance:
a. Perform ongoing tuning and optimisation of infrastructure hardware and software components such as updates and upgrades.
b. Site, Device onboarding to Monitoring systems for the pro-active monitoring.

4. Resolve Incidents:
a. Perform problem/issue identification and resolution - Assist with simulation of user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
b. Follow up with users to ensure problem has been resolved.
c. Recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.

5. Assist with the planning and designing of infrastructure systems.

Creation of SOPs for the team.

7. Working with 24/7 Shift, ability to co-ordinate between teams in multiple geographical location.

Requirements:

1. Degree with 8-10+ years of Network Experience pre-dominantly in supporting Operations in a large-scale Hybrid network.

2. Hands on Technical experience working in multi-vendor firewall s Checkpoint Fortinet.

3. Relevant exposure to Network Security (Understanding of Anti-spoofing, AAA, VPN, IPSec, DDos)

4. Administration of Firewalls, Access management.

5. Hands on experience working in Cisco Devices (IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS)

6. Experience in supporting Hybrid Network (Cloud/ On-Prem)

7. Positive understanding of Switching and Routing (static, OSPF BGP)

8. Firewall Certification like Checkpoint CCSA, Fortinet NSE, PA, is a plus or a good understanding in Firewall.

9. CCNA or CCNP certified

10. ITIL Awareness/Certified
