Vendor Development - New Product development
2.Key Role & Responsibilities :-
Current product development as corporate buyer.
Assessment and Selection of vendors
Knowledge of project planning and execution with NPD and R&D; team.
Product costing and negotiation towards cost submission to management.
Ability to understand drawing, 2D,3D data towards feasibility study and product development.
Knowledge of plastic and rubber molding and press parts manufacturing processes
Knowledge of tooling development and procurement of plastic, rubber and press parts commodity.
Development of Prototypes through CSR approach.
4.Personal Characteristic :-
Ability to make costing using CPC method.
Knowledge of OCT,MCT and TCT study towards accurate product costing
Knowledge of PPAP & APQP processes and FMEA analysis.
Knowledge of various quality and purchase agreement and contracts.
? Knowledge of outsourcing products assemblies and processes.
? Development of products through VA/VE analysis.
? Planning for cost saving activities
? Inventory Control & management
? Ability to handle Strategic sourcing activities
