A diversified financial services group is hiring a Legal & Compliance Manager for its Real Estate & Infrastructure vertical, reporting to the Head - Real Estate & Infra.

Please note: this role is screened on property, land and real-estate transaction law, not on financial services regulatory depth.

Key responsibilities:
- Own all liaisoning activity; support investigation of title on property being purchased or taken up for development; coordinate title certificates from Advocates and Solicitors
- Act as the single point of contact with external counsel; supply documents to solicitors in litigation matters
- Handle all regulatory and legal work and liaison with the regulator and external lawyers; maintain and review legal documents
- Prepare conveyance deeds, lease deeds, contract agreements and society documentation




- Vet all contracts; prepare, scrutinise and finalise sale deeds, LOIs, legal documents and correspondence
- Transcribe and translate legal and technical circulars from vernacular language into English
- Publish legal dashboards and monthly legal reports; design a systematic legal document storage and retrieval system
- Interface externally with land owners and government authorities on compliance activity

Must have: conveyance deeds and property law depth on transactions you personally ran; working command of MOFA, the MAO Act and RERA; title investigation and title-certificate coordination. Relocation to Pune is required.
