Key Responsibilities

- Must have good vendor base at Bhosari & nearby MIDC
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors for fabricated and machined parts along with Plating, Painting, Powder coating and hardening
- Manage existing vendors to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery
- Conduct vendor audits and performance evaluations
- Drive cost reduction initiatives including Zero-Based Costing (ZBC)
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, quality) for vendor alignment
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards
- Handle RFQs, negotiations, and supplier development activities

What Were Looking For

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 49 years of experience in vendor development / sourcing
- Strong knowledge of fabrication and machining processes
- Experience in supplier audits, vendor evaluation, and development
- Proficiency in Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) and cost analysis
- Positive negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
