Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Automation BIW Projects to lead end-to-end execution of BIW automation and robotic welding projects for automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead projects from RFQ handover to FAT, installation, commissioning, SAT, and customer sign-off.
- Manage project scope, schedule, resources, quality, risks, and deliverables.
- Oversee BIW automation, robotic welding, tooling, fixtures, PLC/controls, and system integration.
- Lead cross-functional mechanical, electrical, controls, robotics, and software teams.
- Manage project budget, P&L;, cost, margins, change requests, and commercial performance.
- Drive customer meetings, technical reviews, vendor coordination, and project escalations.




- Ensure successful project delivery within time, cost, quality, and customer requirements.

Requirements

- 12-18+ years of experience in Automotive / BIW Automation / Robotic Welding Projects.
- Solid experience with turnkey automation projects and system integration.
- Knowledge of ABB/FANUC/KUKA/Yaskawa/Comau robots, PLC/controls, welding and tooling.
- Proven experience in FAT, SAT, installation & commissioning.
- Strong project management, P&L;, customer management, and team leadership skills.
- Engineering degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automation preferred.
