Job Title: Azure Data Engineer (Python/PySpark & Cosmos DB)

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with solid expertise in Python, PySpark, Azure Cosmos DB, and Microsoft Fabric.

Key Skills:

- Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Spark Batch, and Azure Notebooks
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB including data modeling, indexing, partitioning, consistency levels, and performance tuning
- Experience with Cosmos DB APIs and query optimization
- Expertise in building data ingestion and transformation pipelines using PySpark and Azure Data Factory
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and cloud-based data engineering solutions
- Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and TDD/BDD practices
- Knowledge of Azure services such as Storage, Azure Functions,



SQL Managed Instance, and Purview is a plus

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable solutions using Azure Cosmos DB
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
- Tune Cosmos DB performance through effective indexing and partitioning strategies
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on cloud data solutions
- Implement automated deployment and testing processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve data platform and database issues
