Your future tasks:

- You provide the technical leadership of an international development team (one frontend developer, one senior backend developer) at our locations in Germany and India; disciplinary responsibility remains with the Team Lead eBusiness in Germany, to whom you report

- You will be responsible for end-to-end implementation projects (timeline and quality), as well as the solution architecture for web applications (SAP Commerce Cloud) and interfaces (SAP CPI), and will ensure that the implementation adheres to best practices and our security and quality requirements

- You safeguard code quality via code review, own automated testing and deployments and continuously optimize the development processes

- You drive the adoption of AI and automation, including building and using AI agents to automate business and development processes

- You develop your team members professionally and foster knowledge transfer between the locations in Germany and India

- You ensure the operation and maintenance of running applications

- You own feature development end to end:



scope, deadlines and quality targets are agreed with the Team Lead eBusiness, while delivery in time and in quality is entirely your responsibility

Requirements:

- Successfully completed degree (e.g. applied computer science, business information systems or software engineering) or comparable training

- At least 3 years of experience in the technical leadership of agile, internationally distributed development teams (ideally Germany India)

- Several years (5+) of development experience in the SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly SAP Hybris) environment in the area of e-commerce (B2B), initial experience in the SAP SD module desirable

- Several years (5+) of skilled experience in software development, especially using Java, Spring, JavaScript, Ant, Maven, HTML5

- Sound know-how in the field of artificial intelligence and automation as well as hands-on experience in building and using AI agents

- Experience in agile projects, Scrum or Kanban as well as confident handling of Jira and Confluence

- Structured and solution-oriented way of working, a high degree of communication strength, team skills and assertiveness as well as intercultural competence

- Very good command of written and spoken English, willingness to travel (India) desirable
