Role & responsibilities:

• Develop exact 2D, 3D SolidWorks CAD models as per project requirements.

- Assist manufacturing team with accurate 2D drawings with proper tolerances, GD&T; and surface finish specification.
- Demonstrate ability to conduct critical review, seek approval of design / layouts in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create, set up and maintain accurate ERP BOM based on product drawings.
- Conduct BOM audits to monitor accuracy.
- Assist in setting up and auditing plant inventories.
- Deliver projects by defining scope, managing schedules and ensuring timely delivery of competitive products.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement using automation and standardization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to document project activities, meeting minutes and task assignments.

Education and/or Experience :





- Bachelors degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in mechanical design and CAD.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM vault and ERP software.
- Moderate to expert level skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and various MS applications
- Proficient in verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Should be aware of Sheet-Metal design and machining processes.
- Able to work independently as well as with a team.

Preferred Background

• Experience in 3D HVAC system design and detailed engineering.

• Work experience in SolidWorks software.

• Experience working with ERP software.
